Ok. So. Been mostly away for the last couple of weeks. My computer was out and I only had spurts of internet access at best, and even less internet access were I'd have sufficient privacy to want to be on any websites I affiliate with certain of my interests that I'd prefer remain mostly privet. My computer is now up and running again. That's the good news.
The bad news, is that while I was out of communication with most of the internet, my Grandmother passed away at the age of 79. I wasn't there physically, she went while I was working a second shift. The Nurse has told us that she was asleep, not in pain and at peace when she passed.
I've been doing some grieving, I'm sad she's gone, but it was a long time building so it didn't take us by surprise, and that's helped some. My family and I are handling it about as well as can be expected. I'm just putting it out there so that people know why If I take awhile to get down to things.
We've been going through her Will and were working on dealing with all her left over matters. Creditors, medical bills, figuring out what kind of service to have for her (she didn't want a full funeral and she left instructions to be cremated so that's actually been one of the more simple points, I digress.). My brothers school had a field trip they'd had scheduled since near the beginning of the year, that I and my father had signed up to help chaperone. They took the kids down to Orlando FL for a few days, did a visit to the Orlando Science Center and a couple of days at Walt Disney World, which was nice for him, helped him get his mind off things.
Anyway, just figured I should give those who haven't had a chance to hear yet the heads up.
